Cities we cover in detail
We have prepared market notes for Moscow, St Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Samara, Chelyabinsk, Perm and Krasnoyarsk. They cover list availability, relevant sectors and the messaging context that matters locally.
If your city is not listed, that is not a constraint. We build each audience around the geography, industry and decision-maker roles relevant to your offer.
- Moscow: dense competition for decision-makers’ attention and a higher bar for personalisation
- St Petersburg: a major market with strong manufacturing and technology sectors
- Yekaterinburg: industrial businesses, metalworking and equipment
- Novosibirsk: distribution and logistics across Siberia
- Kazan: technology and manufacturing, with Russian and Tatar business correspondence
- Southern and eastern regions: local logistics, construction, agriculture, energy and resource-sector contexts can shape the offer
How regional outreach differs from a nationwide campaign
The main difference is audience density. A broad B2B segment in Moscow can support a much larger addressable list than the same segment in a single regional market, so a weak offer can exhaust a local audience quickly.
That is why we validate the segment and message before expanding. Regional campaigns also need more concrete copy: local relevance, practical delivery terms, an existing presence or a clear remote-working model tend to matter more than generic claims of nationwide coverage.
The delivery setup does not change by region. What changes is the audience selection, segmentation and message framing. See how OT9 launches outreach in Russia and the CIS.
Launching in a new region
- Define your ideal customer profile: industries, company profile, decision-maker roles and the geographic boundary.
- Build and deduplicate the company list so it fits the selected territory.
- Validate contact data. Across our campaigns, 97.7% of addresses accepted the email and the bounce rate was 2.3%.
- Test the offer with an initial wave and review replies by segment within the region.
- Scale the working segment-and-offer combination and route replies to your team or CRM.
The same sequence applies when entering a new Russian region or expanding into Kazakhstan, Belarus or Uzbekistan. Telegram is often a working business channel in these markets; learn more about Telegram outreach for Russia and the CIS.
When regional outreach is not the right fit
If your niche has too few relevant companies in a region, a cold campaign will quickly reach the limit of the available audience. In that case, a focused account-based approach is usually more appropriate.
Outreach is also not a substitute for formal procurement or tender participation. It is less suitable for highly local consumer-style services whose operating area is limited to a small neighbourhood.
