B2B Email Outreach for Russia and CIS

OT9 runs managed B2B cold email outreach for companies selling into Russia and the CIS. We handle targeting, sending infrastructure, segment-specific email sequences and reply qualification, then hand your sales team conversations with decision-makers who have shown interest.

What managed email outreach includes

Email outreach is a full operating cycle, not a list upload. You do not need separate in-house specialists for targeting, deliverability, copywriting and reply handling: the OT9 unit covers those functions together.

 1. Brief and ideal customer profile. We define the industry, company profile, geography and decision-maker roles worth approaching.
 2. Company research and contact validation. We build a target list around your profile, identify relevant business contacts and remove invalid or risky records.
 3. Sending infrastructure. We prepare separate sending domains and mailboxes so your primary corporate domain is not used for outreach.
 4. Email sequences. We write the first message and follow-ups around a relevant reason to contact the segment, a company-specific fact where appropriate and a clear offer.
 5. Controlled delivery. We monitor acceptance, bounces and signals that require attention, then adjust the campaign when needed.
 6. Reply handling and qualification. A person reads responses, follows the agreed process and hands over conversations that meet your qualification criteria.

Launching email outreach in Russia and the CIS

A proper launch needs preparation before the first campaign is sent. New sending infrastructure must establish a normal sending history; skipping that work puts deliverability and your brand at risk.

This matters especially in the Russian and CIS market. Corporate buyers often use local mailbox providers, decision-makers commonly read their own email, and a message must earn attention through relevance rather than generic sales language.

Be cautious of a provider promising to start immediately from brand-new infrastructure. Ask how your primary domain will be protected and how reply handling will work before you sign.

What determines the result

Cold email performance depends on four connected factors. A weak link in any one of them can undermine the whole campaign.

 • Targeting quality. Even excellent copy will not work when it reaches companies outside the real buying segment.
 • Deliverability. An email that does not reach the inbox has no commercial value, so address quality and sender reputation are monitored throughout.
 • Offer and copy. Buyers respond to a concrete proposition, a clear fit and an understandable next step—not broad claims about being a market leader.
 • Reply speed. Interest cools quickly. Your sales team needs to take over qualified conversations without leaving them unattended.

Across 360 campaigns using 1,100 sending mailboxes in 85 Russian regions, we have seen the same setup perform very differently between segments. Early outreach is therefore used to test fit and messaging before expanding what is working.

What we need from you

Managed service does not mean zero client involvement. We need enough input to represent your offer accurately and qualify replies in a way your sales team can use.

 • A completed brief covering your product, deal size, target customer and the reasons existing customers buy.
 • Access to a product expert who can answer practical questions needed for the copy and objection handling.
 • A salesperson or commercial owner ready to take over qualified conversations.
 • Feedback on handed-over leads so we can refine qualification criteria.

Sending domains, mailboxes and monitoring remain on our side. Your main corporate domain does not take part in the outreach.

How we measure results

We do not treat emails sent or email opens as the result. Open data is unreliable, so it is not a sound basis for commercial reporting.

We measure the progression from a contacted company to a reply, qualified interest and a handed-over conversation. The definition of a lead is agreed before launch; see our lead guarantees for the principles.

Our reference baseline is 3,224,000 emails sent to 811,200 companies, with 48,100 companies replying and 6,500 explicit yeses. These figures cover different niches and offers; they are evidence of our operating history, not a promise that every segment will perform the same way.

The wider process, from brief to sales handover, is set out in How We Work.

When email outreach is not the right fit

A direct answer saves both sides time. We may advise against launch in the following situations.

 • Your deal value is too low to support the economics of targeted outreach and sales follow-up.
 • Your market consists mainly of microbusinesses without a defined decision-maker role.
 • There is no clear offer, meaningful point of difference or reason to start a conversation.
 • Nobody on your side can take qualified replies into a real sales process.
 • You need a finished result immediately and cannot allow time for a responsible launch.

Pricing

Pricing depends on target-list scope, the number of segments, the depth of personalisation and whether OT9 handles replies or passes them directly to your team. Initial preparation and ongoing campaign management are scoped separately.

FAQ

Can you email companies that have not opted in?

B2B outreach must be handled responsibly, with truthful sender identification, a clear commercial purpose and an effective way to stop further contact. We remove contacts who ask not to receive messages. You should also obtain legal advice for your specific markets, offer and data practices.

Do you send from our corporate domain?

No. Outreach is sent through separate sending domains and mailboxes prepared for the campaign. Your primary corporate domain is kept outside the sending operation.

Who answers incoming emails?

A person handles replies under a process agreed with you. Automation supports operational tasks, but decision-maker correspondence is read, classified and answered by the OT9 team before qualified conversations are passed on.

What if the campaign receives too few replies?

We review the chain: deliverability, target selection, offer and copy. Early activity is used to test hypotheses before scaling. If the segment is not a fit for email outreach, we will say so directly rather than continue against the evidence.

Can we provide our own contact list?

Yes. We validate it before use, remove invalid records and duplicates, and identify gaps that affect targeting. Sending to an unclean list can damage deliverability, so validation is part of a responsible launch.

Assess your segment before launch

Send us an enquiry and we will review your target segment, discuss your ideal customer profile and give a candid view of whether email outreach is suitable. If the channel is not right for your niche, we will tell you before an agreement is signed.
